I've got a great idea. Why not open up another site, that is pretty much the same like deviantART, but it will be called deviantASIA, which kind of sounds like fantasia if you ask me.

In deviantASIA, all the little kids with their Naruto-fanart, their dressing-up-as-Cloud pictures, their "boy from random horribly drawn japanese show is kissing another boy"-drawings that any retarded chimp could do better can have their fling, post their pics, can discuss which furry creature (YIFF IN HELL!) is cuter and so on. You get the idea.

I hate to see how really artistic pieces like photos or drawings that are of stunning quality don't get the attention they deserve because of the horrible fan"art" that is on dA, which is blocking the frontpages because all the little boys and girls fave those cute little pictures that their dA-idols have drawn with crayon on a sheet of paper within five minutes.
I mean look at the most popular desktop screenshots: more than 75% are standart-windows-xp-desktops without any modification but with a crappy wallpaper of their favourite anime-charakter, kissing another one of their oh-so-cute darlings. Others (and i don't even mean myself!) put a lot of efford into these customizations, create own themes and so on, but they dont get on the very first pages because of what i mentioned.

Another example: Most popular within the last 24 hours. Why the bloody hell is [link] (not artistic at all, unoriginal, etc) WAY more popular than a great painting like [link] ?? WHY?

So please, dA-Admins, separate those damn kids and their crappy japanese comics from the REAL talented people that are on dA so they get the attention and the reward they deserve.

And don't tell me to be open minded.
